How the perfect cut diamond affects the look of the diamond?

The cut is one of the important characteristics of a diamond. It refers to how the diamond has been cut from the stone. An expert diamond cutter who uses his experience and skills to cut the diamond carries out the process of cutting to create the perfect cut diamond. Such a diamond can have any of the popular shapes, whether round, radiant, or the perfect cushion cut diamond. This diamond would be the best quality.
Cut grade
The cut grade refers to the quality or grade of the cutting. The perfect cut diamond would have the ideal cut of good quality. The grading is done on a five point scale, which has Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, and Poor as the grading. Obviously, the Excellent and Very Good rated diamonds are of the highest cut quality and would cost the most.
The perfect cushion cut diamond of Good grade is intermediate and is of good cut quality, which would appear well and shine well. The prices of these cuts would be moderate. The Fair grade is average. The Poor grade is the least quality of cut and will be less priced as the quality is not so good. Depending on your needs and budget, you can select the best cut for the diamond. Ideally, you can go for the Very Good or Good cut grade.
Cut characteristics
There are three cut characteristics that you can look for to determine the perfect cut diamond. The three are:
a)    Face up appearance, which is the appearance of the diamond when you look at it. The brightness of the diamond and the fire in it.
b)    Design refers to how the diamond has been designed while cutting. This refers to the durability and the weight ratio, two key factors.
c)    Craftsmanship refers to the skills of the diamond cutter which is reflected in the end-product. The symmetry of the cut (the proportions) and the polish are craftsmanship characteristics of the diamond.
The cut thus has a direct impact of the quality and looks of the diamond.
